Why are Liberals the first to try to stifle free speech?

Liberals stifle free speech because hearing opinions that don't jive with their own is so unsettling to the imaginary dream world they have concocted for themselves.

You may think my answer is a huge exaggeration, but when you read my explanation below, I think you'll agree with my premise.

Liberals are absolutely exasperated by Conservatives because we have clear, razor sharp views, while the Liberal is lucky if he can patch together some motley, fuzzy inconsistent political outlook that is riddled with what should be glaringly obvious contradictions and hypocrisy.

On some level, the Liberal mind realizes its grasp of reality is extremely tenuous, and to protect its carefully constructed fantasy world, it violently lashes out at Conservatives because we are like a splash of cold water in their face. We refuse to let them live in a dream world, and it drives them crazy.

I can't tell you how many times I have patiently debunked a Liberal's arguments, completely decimating his spurious contentions. Instead of learning from his mistakes, he just lashes out like a crazed pit bull.



*EDIT* What astounds me is how immature Liberal college students are. Only Liberals try to disrupt guest speakers on campus from giving the lecture for which they were invited. You NEVER see Conservative students acting so reprehensibly. In fact, the Conservative students are generally just much better behaved while the Libbys don't seem to even have any sense of etiquette, decorum, or even good manners. At campuses all across the nation, Libby kids rant and rave and try to disrupt the Conservative from talking. Just reinforces everything I said above.
