Player Types In Guild Wars

Player Types In Guild Wars

I think I can put Guild Wars players under three (major) categories.

1) Power Gamer: Enjoys playing mainly for wealth and power. Spends most of his/her time farming, or trying to find weaknesses in the game to get more for less. May do missions/quests, but generally will skim a lot of the game to get to the "meaty" parts.

2) Adventurer: Enjoys playing the game for completion. Really likes spending time with friends and doing missions and/or quests. May enjoy farming, but likes it in larger groups (does very little soloing). Enjoys the challenge set by the game designers.

3) Casual Gamer: As the title implies, plays casually just to spend time. May partake in various farming activities, but is mainly just trying to finish the quest/mission at hand, not really worried about much else.

I would probably hang around with group 2, i used to farm alot but that got boring soon, i stopped farming after i got my fow top. i thought i wouldnt make mutch of a living out of normal PvE, but i seem to be able to keep up around ~30k to make a living of

I kinda agree with your 3 groups thing tho, but some casual players also belong to group 2

So i have read that many people have also hit this fraud barrier with their accounts on the On-line store. Their arguement is that they have bought something from the store and now cannot use any other cars. However my case is different because i have never bought anything from the online stare at all. For some reason I cannot use a credit card to purchase to BMP from GW store, NCstore is useless since i havent bought anything from them with means i cannot buy the Mission pack. Does anyone have any thoughts?
