I'm a WoW defector.  I was going to say refugee but that would imply that I would return if I could.  However, there is one thing I really liked about WOW and I was worried that coming to EQ2 I would lose this.  That one thing is humor.  WoW has a lot of funny little things in it like funny items and off the hip popular culture references.  I thought that EQ2 would be too ¡®high and mighty' for a little tongue-in-cheek humor; that it would take its self too seriously.  I'm glad I was wrong.

So far I've only noticed a few such elements in EQ2:

- I am a ratonga and I love the way rats follow me around Freeport curiously or the way cats hiss at me

- I passed a troll NPC in Freeport and she said to me ¡®If you die, you will let me know. OK?'



I would like it of other people on this forum could list other things along this line about EQ2.  This way I, and others, could experience them.
